There are many different routes that people may take to pursue this. For some people personal development means volunteering at a community organization, learning a new skill, or turning an old hobby into a new business. For others it may mean taking a new class, learning a new language, becoming more
active in the PTA at their child's elementary school, or some other endeavor. Regardless of what route you may choose to expand and improve yourself, Gateway ESL is here to help you succeed in reaching your goals.

As adult education professionals with more than 15 years of serving American immigrant communities, we understand how difficult it can be to relocate from the place you’ve always called home to start all over in a new country with a new language and unfamiliar customs. We also understand that just like finding employment for yourself, a good school for your children, and learning the customs and culture of your new country takes a lot of time and effort, so does finding a high-quality ESL program that works well with your schedule and easily fits within your financial budget.
That's why our ESL program is designed the way it is. We have specially structured our classes to work perfectly for working adults and single parents, because in view of all the other responsibilities that you're trying to balance, such as family, finances, employment, and so on, we want you to be able to learn English and improve your personal and professional skills without any added stressors.
For example, in order to make life easier for students who need to work or raise children, we currently provide private online tutoring from morning to evening every day except Sundays. In addition, the ChatWell conversational English class meets online every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening beginning at 4:00 p.m., with each day offering three different class times to choose from. Not only is it our most popular class, but the convenient flexible schedule and easy online accessibility make ChatWell the perfect option for working adults and single parents who want to improve their English skills.
To go a step further, in 2023 we will begin hosting our free Gateway CitizenPrep classes on Saturday mornings to help people prepare to take the U.S. citizenship test. Moreover, we will also begin conducting our BetterSpeak American Accent Training class at 3 different convenient times on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
So, you can see that not only have we designed our ESL program to be easily affordable, but also very flexible so that working people can still participate in these high-quality classes that develop both their personal and professional skills, and improve their lives by giving them the knowledge and communication skills that are necessary to make them successful as Americans.
